Sites

Group cameras by location or customer installation, and how site limits work in each edition.

A site groups the cameras at one location: a building, a branch, a car park, or one customer's premises. Every camera belongs to exactly one site. Sites appear in camera lists, incidents and alerts, so a notification says where the problem is.

Create a site

  1. Open Sites

Go to Sites and choose Add site.

  2. Name it

    Name
    For example “Northgate warehouse”.
    Description
Optional. Helps people recognize the location, for example its address.
  3. Save

The site is ready for cameras.

Organize cameras

  • Choose the site when you add a camera.
  • To move a camera, edit it and choose another site.
  • Filter Cameras and Incidents by site to focus on one location.
  • Edit a site to rename it or change its description. To delete a site, first move or delete its cameras: a site that still contains cameras cannot be deleted.

A site counts toward the monitoring allowance only while it has at least one monitored camera. If an installation holds more sites than its edition allows, the oldest are monitored and cameras on the others show Paused — plan limit.
